Rusty Red Coffee PotThe rain thumped against the windowpane as thunder  roared. A spoon in the rusty red coffee pot  fell to the floor from off of the stained desk.  I stared at the clock, watching it tick by with one eye  while the other followed a fly that was apparently  stuck. I closed the cover of the thick dictionary.   
With a quick swing of my hand, the dictionary  fell to the floor. The fly flew outside as the thunder  followed the flash of lighting in the dark sky. Apparently  this storm wasn't going to end soon. The coffee pot  caught my attention once more as my old eyes  scanned over it. Th Rusty Red Coffee Pot
